It is not a rare disease since 125 000 people in France are affected by the condition. Causes are multiple, for example a premature birth or a difficult childbirth. Thus, it can happen to any newborn child.<\/p><p>Nous connaissons, sans tr\u00e8s souvent le savoir, une personne, dans notre entourage proche ou un peu plus lointain, qui vit avec une paralysie c\u00e9r\u00e9brale, dont les cons\u00e9quences peuvent extr\u00eamement varier d\u2019une personne \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Il faut rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 cette m\u00e9connaissance, c\u2019est l\u00e0 tout le travail qui incombe \u00e0 la Fondation Paralysie C\u00e9r\u00e9brale.<\/p><p>Elle poursuit, sans rel\u00e2che, ses efforts entam\u00e9s en 2005 pour faire progresser la recherche sur le 1er handicap moteur de l\u2019enfant en France, et ce partout sur le territoire. Elle a financ\u00e9 78 projets dans des domaines vari\u00e9s mais qui r\u00e9pondent aux probl\u00e9matiques concr\u00e8tes des personnes concern\u00e9es et leur famille : r\u00e9\u00e9ducation, d\u00e9tection, douleur, participation sociale etc\u2026 Pr\u00e8s de 7 millions d\u2019euros ont \u00e9t\u00e9 investis dans la recherche depuis la cr\u00e9ation de la Fondation en 2005.<\/p><h4>Research moves forward.
